WLP Submits Paid-Leave Testimony to Philadelphia City Council

On March 1, 2011, the Women's Law Project submitted testimony to the Philadelphia City Council in support of an ordinance establishing paid leave from employment due to sickness of an employee and/or family members. Adoption of such legislation will tremendously benefit employees and employers and respond to overwhelming public interest in providing paid sick leave for employees.
