Health Care Reform: Rallies, Lobbying and Events

We've Had Enough Rally - Harrisburg September 27, 2011

Harrisburgh, PA - On September 27, 2011, over 300 advocates from across the state came together in the Capitol Rotunda to say, "We've Had Enough" to the Pennsylvania legislature. Speakers rallied the group encouraging them to meet with their legislators and to urge their Senators and Representatives to reject Senate Bill 732. Unfortunately, SB 732, passed, and it requires abortion providers to become ambulatory surgical centers or be closed down.

SB 732 was signed by Governor Corbett in December 2011.
