Radio Times Podcast on Rising Domestic Homicides in Philadelphia

On January 19, 2010, the WLP's Executive Director, Carol Tracy, appeared on Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane to discuss the rising rate of domestic homicides in Philadelphia. Police Deputy Commissioner Patricia Giorgio-Fox, and Paul Bukovec, Director of Menergy, were also part of the panel discussing police response and new strategies (listen to Podcast). According to a report in the Philadelphia Inquirer (12/29/2009), there was a 67 percent increase in domestic homicides in 2009 in the City of Philadelphia when compared to 2008 (21 domestic homicides in 2008 and 35 were recorded in 2009).
