Kate Michelman Joins the WLP as Special Advisor on Health Care

Kate Michelman, the former President of NARAL Pro-Choice America, has returned to her home state of Pennsylvania and will work with the Women’s Law Project as a special advisor on critical health care issues. Like many other Americans, Kate has had to focus her attention on the mounting physical and financial burdens associated with her family’s serious health care issues. (“A System from Hell,”The Nation). With her insight, prowess and vast experience as an advocate, Kate will be an invaluable ally for the WLP in our new public education campaign about the current state of women’s health in Pennsylvania, the need for women to be knowledgeable about and advocates for their own health care, and for reform that will allow for access to and delivery of comprehensive health care for women. |
