Tara joined the WLP in the fall of 2011 and is the newest hire in the Western PA office.  A Pittsburgh native, Tara brings to the WLP several years of intensive litigation experience in the private sector at firms in both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.  She also brings a lifelong passion for women’s rights issues.  After receiving a degree in history and women’s studies from the College of William and Mary, Tara obtained her law degree from the Dickinson School of Law.    

Tara’s position is made possible, in part, by the generosity of donors to the Women's Law Project's Abortion Justice Project.  The very welcome addition of Tara’s skills to the organization will expand the Women’s Law Project’s capacity to conduct high-impact litigation in many areas, including reproductive rights, equity in athletics, prisoner’s rights, LGBT equality, and employment discrimination.
