WLP Opposes SB9 and HB41(information created by Community Legal Services of Philadelphia and the Women's Law Project) SB9 passed by a vote of 40-9 in the Pennsylvania Senate on May 24th and will now move to the Pennsylvania House for consideration. HB41 the compansion legislation to SB9 in the House of Representatives is currently before the House State Government Committee. Since SB9 passed the Senate, the House may move on SB9. Please call your representative in the Pennsylvania House and ask them to oppose SB9 and HB41.
