WLP Staff Honored with Multiple AwardsOn May 3, 2006, Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania hosted an Evening with Helen Thomas at the College of Physicians of Philadephia. During the event, both Carol Tracy, WLP Executive Director, and Sue Frietsche, Senior Staff Attorney, were presented by Planned Parenthood with the Freedom Keeper Award. Congratulations Carol and Sue!The accolades do not end there. On April 6th, Carol and the Women's Law Project, were also honored with the 50th Anniversary Celebration Award from the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. The award was presented at a luncheon where Carol and WLP were recognized for extraordinary leadership, commitment and dedication to the advancement of civil rights and equal opportunity! On March 30th, NARAL Pro-Choice Pennsylvania presented Sue Frietsche with the Ernesta D. Ballard Award for Advocacy and Leadership. Congratulations to Carol, Sue and the Staff of the Women's Law Project! |
