From the beginning, we strongly opposed the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court. Our reasons for opposing Kavanaugh are detailed in this open letter we sent to U.S. Senators earlier this month.

Our opposition has only intensified over the course of the last month as Kavanaugh repeatedly revealed many more reasons he doesn’t belong serving a lifelong appointment on the highest court in the country.

There is, of course, the very serious allegations of sexual assault from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a brave woman who has been treated horribly and mocked by the president of the United States. There is also credible analysis that Kavanaugh has repeatedly lied and made misleading claims and dodged questions while under oath. His behavior during the nomination hearings revealed a lack of judicial temperament and a tendency toward extremely partisan, conspiratorial outbursts.

Judge Kavanaugh is unfit to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.

According to the latest reports, an initial vote may take place Friday, October 5.

There is still time to make our voices heard. Contact Pennsylvania Senators Pat Toomey and Bob Casey in any way possible and urge them to vote NO on Judge Kavanaugh.
