In case you missed it: WLP is in Commonwealth Court this morning for oral arguments in Allegheny Reproductive Health Center v. Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, otherwise known as the Medicaid abortion coverage case.

WLP Susan J. Frietsche will be arguing on behalf of the legal team representing the group of Pennsylvania-based abortion providers challenging the state’s ban on Medicaid coverage of abortion. The providers are represented by attorneys from the Women’s Law Project; attorney David S. Cohen; Planned Parenthood Federation of America; and the private law firm Troutman Pepper LLP.

Oral arguments will be livestreamed due to the pandemic, so this is a rare opportunity to watch the proceedings from afar.

Tune in here.
