Anti-abortion constitutional amendment Senate Bill 956 is the first step to fully criminalizing and/or banning abortion in Pennsylvania, and we need your help to stop it.

Constitutional amendments are bills that must pass both houses two sessions in a row and then pass as a ballot question to go into effect. Constitutional amendments can’t be vetoed by the governor.

Contact your state Senator and urge them to oppose anti-abortion constitutional amendment SB 956.

Opposing Compelled Drug Screening House Bill 1737

Pennsylvania lawmakers are advancing a bill that would enable unconstitutional intrusions of the government into a family’s private sphere and compound the child welfare system’s disproportionate targeting of people of color.

Pennsylvania House Bill 1737 was introduced to expand government surveillance and intrusion into our lives in response to a judicial decision that clarified the legal limits to which the government can interfere into the private family lives of constituents.

WLP strongly opposes this bill. Unfortunately, it already passed the House and is scheduled for a vote in the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee.
